Advancing Planning, Execution, and Lead-Time Insight
As we do every semester, we’re pleased to announce our Winter Release, packed with innovations and new capabilities designed to enhance planning, execution, and visibility across your production processes. In the Winter 2026 Release, we’re proud to not only enhance existing features but also add entirely new modules. This continuous evolution reflects our commitment to delivering a modern, flexible, and data-driven operations platform, built on the latest technology and inspired by real manufacturing challenges.
1. Manufacturing Critical Path Time (MCT)
The new MCT module introduces an analytical framework for understanding true production lead time. It provides a clear representation of where value-adding work takes place and where orders accumulate waiting time.
The module offers:
- MCT maps for individual orders or logical order groups
- Visualization of sequential and parallel flows
- Distinction between active processing (gray segments) and waiting (white segments)
- A factual basis for reducing lead time, improving stability, and aligning improvement initiatives
This capability is particularly relevant for teams applying lean or QRM principles, as it makes systemic delays visible and quantifies improvement potential.
2. 24Planning Gantt Chart Module
The introduction of the Gantt Chart module provides a structured and visual method for managing project-based and engineer-to-order production. It allows organizations to represent complex task hierarchies, understand dependencies clearly, and maintain a realistic view of delivery risk.
Key capabilities include:
- Hierarchical visualization of tasks, subtasks, and dependencies
- Automatic recalculation of dependent tasks when changes occur
- Critical path identification for transparent risk assessment
- Intuitive progress indicators for each task
Because it builds on the same dataset and datasource concepts as resource-based planning, the Gantt module supports full customization of fields, colors, and layouts, enabling teams to generate multiple planning perspectives from a unified dataset.
3. Enhancements to the Team Cockpit
The Team Cockpit has been expanded with new functions and interface components designed to support operators more efficiently and improve real-time shop floor visibility.
Inline operational actions
Operators can start, pause, stop, or review orders directly, reducing navigation time and improving data accuracy.
New components
- Barcode Scanner: Supports camera-based and manual scanning
- Workload Graph: Displays real-time work allocation and team load
- Andon Status: Shows machine conditions for rapid issue escalation
The cockpit now offers additional configuration options for layout, color coding, filters, and custom actions, allowing teams to tailor the experience to their operational context.
4. 24Planning Functional Extensions
Several new planning capabilities improve accuracy and governance:
- Resource-specific unavailability: Combine individual resource availability with existing schedule structures
- Automated handling of non-working time: Operations spanning off-hours are now scheduled automatically
- Read-only access mode: Users can review datasets without modification rights
- Capacity-based scheduling for MTO: Incorporates machine-specific speeds and parameters into the scheduling engine
5. Additional Platform Enhancements
This release also includes broader improvements across the system:
- Adoption of Salesforce Lightning Design System 2 for a modernized interface
- Enhancements to Competence Management, including fully configurable levels and descriptions through Custom Metadata Types
